The Seascape on the upper floor is totally private and has a comfortable queen size bed with a down duvet. Surrounded by romantic, soft, creamy decor, your cares will slip away as you sit by the window and take in the expansive view. The private ensuite bathroom has a relaxing ambiance. In the Emily Carr room, a silk filled duvet and a pillow top queen size mattress assures a restful sleep. The hand carved headboard and finely hand-stitched Vancouver Island quilt complement the antique Canadian ambiance. This bedroom has its own temperature control. Guests use a private bathroom with shower. A hairdryer is supplied. View the garden, surrounding forest and coast mountains from this bedroom and the cozy adjacent guest lounge. Curl up and read an Emily Carr book. |

Begin your day with an appetizer salad prepared with garden fresh berries and fruit in season. The hot entrée may include farm fresh eggs and double smoked Canadian bacon, or Vancouver Island smoked wild salmon, a different specialty each day. Home baking, our preserves and top quality organic fair trade Canterbury coffee is served. Breakfast provides a panoramic view of the beautiful British Columbia coast. A chorus of morning birdsong and soft music will add to the ambiance while you visit with your genial hosts. Many mornings an eagle (or maybe two) will honor us with its presence sometimes sitting for hours in one spot, and at other times soaring in great circles overhead. |

When the last light fades to total darkness, star gazing and satellite spotting can be enjoyed from the deck. The guest lounge is furnished with TV, writing desk, piano and games. A woodstove provides warm comfort for cool evenings. If reading is your pleasure, a variety of books are available. Many portray island lore and local history. Original art is featured throughout the Art and Soul Bed and Breakfast and artworks by talented Vancouver Island and BC artists are showcased. Free wireless internet. |
